What is ceramic?
Ceramic is a collective term for products made from clay and hollow-fired in an oven. Ceramic is used for a wide range of applications, from construction products to beautiful tableware. By far the most commonly used urn is made of ceramic.

Ceramic comes from the Greek word "Keramos." It has been used for many centuries around the world. For instance, the Egyptians used ceramics centuries before Christ. Ceramic urns are durable and last a long time without requiring much maintenance.

How is this urn made?
Based on a model drawing, a plaster model is created, which is then used as a base form for all ceramic products. The different models are cast from the mold and then left to dry.

After drying, the surface is smoothed, and the urn is fired at 900°C. Then, the glaze is applied, and the urn is fired again, this time at 1,050°C.
