The moulds are used to form the different clay models, which are then removed and the urns left to dry. Once dry, their surfaces are smoothed and they are placed in a kiln and fired at 900ºC. Then they are glazed and fired again, although this time at 1200ºC. The ashes are placed into the urn through an opening in the base. This can be sealed using transparent suitable sealant.
